Explosion
Isaiah
60: 1-2 The Passion Translation
“Rise up
in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from
you!
Look carefully! Darkness blankets the
earth,
and
thick gloom covers
the nations,
but
Yahweh arises upon you
and the
brightness of his glory appears over you!
Nations
will be attracted to your radiant light
and
kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.
It was Sunday morning, November 28, 2021 and my husband and I were
headed for Sunday worship. The headlines
were filled with news of a new COVID threat along with all the bad news one
could imagine. I looked forward to a
time of worship with fellow believers and a time to silence the noise of the
enemy in my world. The church attendance
was less than expected with many ill and others attending virtually. Honestly, I was discouraged and by all natural
perspectives it just seemed that the enemy’s hold was compounding day after day,
but that is not God’s reality.
Let me dispel the thought that I am a super spiritual person, I
was in a foul mood. I worshipped, I
prayed, I listened but I could not shake the oppression I felt. Yet, God speaks. I pulled out a scrap of paper during the sermon
and quickly wrote down the words that were resonating in my spirit.
Jesus,
exploding reality
Lighting
horizons beyond what we see
Jesus,
heaven’s atmosphere
Dispelling
darkness, vanquishing fear
Jesus,
exploding reality
Come overwhelm
the heart in me
Jesus,
heaven’s atmosphere
Be manifest
in Your people here
I didn’t know what these words meant, “exploding
reality,” what was that all about?
I put the words in my purse for another
day. On Monday morning, while spending
time with the LORD I pulled out those words. (by the way I did get out of my
spiritual snit)
I remember the previous week Holy Spirit had
given me three words to ponder; supernatural, realm and possibility. As I often do when words come, I go to the
dictionary.
Supernatural: causal agent, spiritual being,
destiny
Realm: a knowledge domain, domain ruled by a
king or queen, sphere, area
Possibility: expectation, outlook, being, opportunity
As I pursued Holy Spirit about these words
and the lyric, I received in church this song lyric emerged.
Jesus,
exploding reality
With Your
realm of possibility
Jesus,
heaven’s atmosphere
Electrifying
as You draw near
Jesus,
exploding reality
Supernatural
possibilities
Jesus,
heaven’s rhapsody
We
resonate with your frequency
Heaven’s
light, eternal sight
On Your
glory we take flight
Holiness
beams and heaven streams
As we
ride upon our Father’s dream
Holy Spirit pointed out
to me that “Jesus exploding reality” has a dual meaning.
1. Jesus is the exploding
reality (personification of true reality)
2. Jesus is exploding our
reality (redefining what we view as reality)
I know that sounds a bit
heady but Holy Spirit was pointing out, it is how we view things that defines
our reality. Do we view them through
eyes of faith in Jesus Christ and who He is, or do we view through the eyes of
the world?
Distraction
cast into the void
Silencing
lies and useless noise
Heaven’s
voice shakes the earth
As God’s
kingdom gives birth
With the lyrics finished I sent them off to
our Intercessory Worship Team, Incense Rising.
Did Len have the music for this, Gail or
Marcia a decree, scripture etc.?
Len sent me a chord chart to try out. He
felt the melody would emerge with the piano as the main instrumental.
I was still pondering the message of this
song. On our Tuesday night, New York
Apostolic Prayer Network intercessory/worship call, (affectionately called, “the
living room”) words about TNT, dynamite, explosion came out through many of the
participants as we worshipped, prayed and waited in God’s presence.
“Wow!
Here are Your words to me God,” I thought. “We are hearing as Your body, Jesus, as
individuals and corporately!”
“Even when I am in a spiritual funk as I was
on Sunday, I hear You.”
I recorded “Explosion,” the following day
and as I closed the song I added, “He’s here.”
I sent if off to Len to see if he had additional
instrumental. Len sent me the final
recording seasoned with his soft instrumentals.
These are his words from his emails which
reflect his heart and sensitivity to the creative process that God’s shares
with us.
“I added some pads and
guitar. There was such a pureness in
your original track. I had to be so
careful in adding the additional tracks in respect to levels and blending with
the piano. Beautiful song.”
“It’s such a privilege to
be involved in the worship arts. Working
on every song is a journey that leads to a revelation of Jesus.”
“Do you see this as a Christmas
song to mirror today?”
Len’s question about the song being a
Christmas/Advent song that mirrors what is going on in our current times
resonated once again in my spirit. Just
like Jesus entered man’s reality over 2000 years ago, He is entering once again
in a new way in the hearts of His people.
He is transforming the way we think, act, respond and view our world.
His kingdom is coming in His people, His Church
and the gates of hell will not prevail.
Isaiah 60 is becoming a reality in us. We must yield to His explosion in us and
around us. He’s here, empowering us to
take back the land and it’s people. This
is Jesus’ inheritance and ours.
So, that is my story about “Explosion.” Let Jesus explode in your life. Holy Spirit light our fuse! World, watch out, Jesus’ fireworks, BOOM!
Explosion
